Alt-aholic - New (gold) guide (part 4)

Yes ... ALTS ... I know I hate them too .. they take too much time and they bore you to death when they don't work your way. Here comes the trick.

• Pick a class you like and are good at playing with.

• Follow the guide to the dot.

Most people will go "HUH?!" when I say this but realise this. When you're leveling you're doing quests. Quests make gold and thats what we're after.

I figured over the years that leveling a character, using only the gear you get from quests and saving up ALL your money you can make over 6k gold easily by the time you're level 80. Now leveling sounds like a lot of time, but you'll get faster at it the more you do it. Plus you already know the character that you picked to play with, thus taking away the learning part of leveling. Also, using the guide speeds up things a LOT. Consider this, I was 6 hours away from being the first level 1 dwarf when WotLK came out. All I did was play the guide. Yes, I only slept 3 hours a day and made level 80 in 3 days but thats still freaking fast considering I did all the quest areas.

Now if you follow the guide and you can play a few hours a day you should have a level 80 char in a week (maybe 2) with 6k or more on it. After you get your char to level 80 you can consider keeping it or deleting it after you tranferred the money to your main.

Now .. here comes the big picture

Alt 6k + (1500g grind x 2 weeks) + (AH broking x 2 weeks) = say around 25000g
